Rusalka Swim School - Terms and Conditions
During the second half of a term, you will be sent your re-booking notification via email, this will include your invoice for the following term. You will need to pay for your child's place by the date stated on the invoice in order to retain their space. Failure to make payment by the deadline may well result in your child's place being lost.
Your class time will follow the same date and time wherever possible, unless you specifically request otherwise. Exceptions for this are if your child is ready to move to the next stage (we will keep you informed of this) or if there aren’t enough children in your class to continue. In this case, we will contact you directly to offer an alternative class. You will receive confirmation of your new term placements during the week prior to it commencing.
If we do not hear from you by the deadline stated, we will assume that you do not wish to continue lessons with us and as such will not then be able to guarantee that a space will be available for your child/children in the forthcoming term.
Payments can be made in the following ways:
• Bank Transfer: The relevant bank details will be included on your emailed invoice
• Two cheques – with the second one being post dated to two weeks prior to the second half term starting.
Please note any late payments or cheque rejection by the bank will incur a £ 10.00 admin charge per child, payable before swimming lessons commence.
3 CANCELLED CLASSES
In the event of your lesson having to be cancelled By Rusalka Swim School, we will endeavour to contact you at the earliest opportunity, by text message (or a phone call for those messages that haven’t been delivered). We will also follow up with an email, where possible. It is your responsibility to ensure we have your correct contact information please. Replacement classes will be offered. Should you book onto a replacement class and fail to attend, you will not be offered an alternative class and you will not be eligible for a refund. Any refunds will be issued after the last day of term.
As a client of Rusalka Swim School, you have the right to cancel at any time prior to 7 days before your first course begins and we will refund your money. Should you cancel within 7 days prior to the commencement date, we will issue a refund minus a minimum £24.00 cancellation charge. Thereafter and once any course has started, Rusalka Swim School is under no obligation to refund any part of the course fees.
5 MISSED LESSONS
Rusalka Swim School is under no obligation to refund or transfer your money in the event that your child is unable to attend part of, or the entire course, unless due to extreme medical conditions. We regret that we are unable to offer an alternative for missed lessons due to holidays or other social occasions. Here at Rusalka we have always tried our best to offer catch ups for lessons missed but, due to this being abused in the past, we now have to state that a maximum of two catch ups in any one term will now be permitted per child and this only if placements in other classes of the same ability are available. Catch ups will not be carried over into a new term. Unfortunately, what seems like one simple request becomes an impractical huge administrative task when spread across hundreds of clients.
6 ADVERSE WEATHER
Rusalka Swim School is under no obligation to refund lessons that may be missed due to local adverse weather when our venue and environs are safe and accessible and lessons are being held. We regret that we are unable to offer automatic refunding or re scheduling of lessons in the event of adverse conditions local to yourselves preventing you from attending a scheduled class.
