Welcome to Rusalka Swim School

Rusalka Swim School is one of the South’'s finest, totally independent, private swim schools, situated in a quiet, picturesque, countryside location near Horndean, in Hampshire. Now in our 10th successful year,
such is the demand for places at our caring family business, that in 2014 we opened our second, purpose designed, warm, modern, teaching pool complex; in order to provide the highest level of swimming tuition and water confidence to even more local babies and children from 3 months upwards.

We believe that every child should have the right to learn to swim and to become 'drownproof' from as early an age as possible! And the more specialised facilities available to the local community to make this easily possible, the better! This learning experience should not only always be provided by a highly qualified source, but also be fun and given with a balance of individual care and understanding. This applies not only to children, but adults too who missed the opportunity, for whatever reason, to learn when they were younger.

Here at Rusalka, your child will enjoy far more personal attention, gaining the benefit of just five children per class and only ever one class in the pool at any one time - unlike other schools who may offer small class numbers but then have two or three classes in the pool together ! Rusalka is the ONLY swim school in Hampshire to achieve and hold ASA ‘Aquamark’ Centre of Excellence status and In November 2011 we were voted one of the top three Swim Schools in the UK.

We are open every week day, with Baby Classes during the mornings and Children, 4yrs and over, starting at 3.45 pm.  We are also open for both groups on Saturdays, with various age group classes throughout the day.  We are closed on Sunday. 

We can proudly state that we were the first Swim School in the area to limit class sizes to a maximum of five children in the pool at any one time,  plus we were also the first and only Swim School in the area originally to offer the opportunity for free 'catch up' lessons should you unavoidably miss your child's swimming class. On top of this, we were also the first Swim School in the area to offer 10% discounted fees for all siblings. And so you can clearly see that where Rusalka leads, others have now had to follow !

At 31'C, in both of our pools, our beautifully clean and safe pool water  is much warmer than Leisure Centres and indeed most school or hotel pools, thus making the whole learning experience far more comfortable and enjoyable for all. Secure, free, off road parking is provided adjacent to both pools and there is  seating available inside of each for parents to watch and monitor the progress of their little ones, plus giving them any moral support that may be felt necessary.

Totally professional and highly academically qualified at all levels, Rusalka can proudly and accurately claim that we are even the Swim School where other Swim School teachers bring their own children !
